RedundancyLeader In The Use Of SIP Trunks In The Avaya Platform
Ryla has been a leader in the use of SIP trunks in the Avaya platform. This technology allows us to increase capacity on the fly due to use of readily available internet bandwidth. This technology also allows a redundant path to get calls to our contact centers besides the traditional TDM methods. This also allows for flexible allocation between both SIP and TDM trunks that can be adjusted near real-time.
SIP trunking is implemented via the use of two fully redundant Sip Enablement Servers (SES). Redundancy is implemented via a hot/stand-by configuration. Our current licensing trunk capacity is 2000 SIP trunks. This capacity can be expanded to 3,500 SIP trunks via licensing, and up to 6000 SIP trunks via the addition of additional memory.
